Prerequisites and Administrative Info
PREREQUISITES
Candidates are required to possess the following requisites:
- A strong interest in studying development economics and international cooperation issues.
- A good knowledge of English (which can be confirmed by a written certificate).
And should fill out one of three below criteria:
- 1) Italian university degree ( "laurea magistrale" or vecchio ordinamento")
or
- 2) At least a 4-year degree from a foreign university (The administrative board of the course will assess the value of foreign degrees)
The first two modules of the programme introduce and elaborate concepts in Maths, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Statistics. These modules aim to provide both some basic training for students without an academic background in these subjects and to strengthen skills for students who are already somewhat proficient. Students without an economics/mathematics background should be aware that these modules will require them to make additional efforts.
ADMINISTRATIVE INFO
Tuition fee
Tuition fee in the amount of 5.900,00€ is to be paid in 2 installments:
- 3.096,00€ (including revenue stamp of 16.00€ and 130€ of A3 size final certificate) at registration upon acceptance into the Programme
- the remaining 2.950,00€ by 20 February 2025 (TBC)
Applications Deadline
Application process for the accademic year 2025/2026 will open in MAY 2025.
Attendance and final qualification
Course attendance is compulsory. The administration regularly monitors the 70% threshold of attendance for each course. The course work for the Masters degree adds up to a total of 60 credits. At the end of the course, students who have regularly attended and passed the exams for each module and presented a final thesis will be awarded the Level II Masters degree in "Development Economics and International Cooperation"(according to the Italian university system).
